All About Us!

Coton Profile sq.jpg

Queen Anne's Lace

We purchased our first breeding female, "Lacey". from our friends Cathy and Michael Lowdermilk of Cathy's Coton Cuties in 2017. Lacey is out of Cathy's sire Fabien Future Hope of CCC, bred at their USA kennel and dam Chardonnay from the Czech Republic. We truly thank Cathy and Michael for such a wonderfully special little dog!

Nobel's Lucky White Clover

We purchased our male coton, "Lucky" from Cathy's business partner Liliana Belbe. His sire is Osmo the Sweetest Coton out of Poland and his dam is Foxy of Lakeview Cottage, USA.

Lucky spent a year training and testing and is now certified as a service dog!

My husband, Roger, and I live on a small farm in the rural town of New Era, Michigan along with our Cotons, Haflinger horses, two miniature donkeys and egg-laying chickens! Our village is located near Lake Michigan midway between Muskegon and Ludington.

Roger is a retired dairy farmer, auctioneer, welder and woodworker.

I (Bobbi) have been a Certified Professional Groomer since 1984. I graduated from Grand Rapids Academy of Pet Grooming, and also was attending college in the Veterinary Sciences with prerequisites at Grand Rapids Junior College with the intention of transferring to Michigan State University. However, I stayed in the grooming trade and started my own business, first Shear Delight Pet Grooming and then Stoney Creek Grooming which I still own and operate.

I have been breeding dogs since 1986, beginning with Labrador Retrievers (AKC), then Jack Russell Terriers (JRTCA, UKC, AKC). My family and I were involved also in breeding, training and racing "Alaskan Huskies". Our starting bloodlines were from very successful champion dogsledders in Iditarod and Sprint styles from the USA and Canada. I retired my last sleddogs in 2009 and eventually moved to a new home with my now-husband in 2010.

My desire to breed a whole new type of dog for therapy and companionship for all ages of people led me to the Coton de Tulear and I have totally fallen in love with these incredible little dogs!
